Birch Silver Earrings

These elegant birch silver earrings are handcrafted from two naturally grown birch leaves. In a galvanic process, the leaf skeletons are covered with copper and then with a layer of pure silver (99.9%). The final step is a skin-friendly seal to prevent or slow down the color change and oxidation of the jewelry. The leaf skeleton itself remains inside the jewelry.

The hooks and rings of the earrings are made of copper and are silver-plated.

Size

The pair of earrings is made from pieces of the size category small (20 – 38 mm) (see sheet size guide ).

We send the earrings including two pairs of silicone stoppers (to protect against loss of the earrings) and in a stylish Blattrausch gift box (see packaging ).

Each jewelry box comes with a booklet with explanations of how the jewelry is made. There you can also learn more about the meaning of each type of tree (see Power of Trees ): The birch stands for new life and love and is also a symbol of rebirth and joy. The maypole is traditionally made from a birch tree and its branches are used to light the Beltane fire.
