This elegant birch silver brooch is handcrafted from a naturally grown birch leaf. First, the leaf mass and chlorophyll of the birch leaf are removed, and what remains is the leaf skeleton. In the galvanic process, the leaf skeleton is first covered with copper and then with a layer of pure silver (99.9%). The final step is a skin-friendly seal to slow down abrasion and the oxidation of the silver layer.

packaging and accessories

We send the jewellery in a stylish Blattrausch gift box (see packaging ) and including a black leather cord. The hidden eyelet also makes it possible to wear the brooch on a chain as a pendant.

Each jewelry box comes with a booklet explaining how the jewelry is made. There you can also learn more about the meaning of each type of tree (see Power of Trees ). The birch symbolizes new life and love and is also a symbol of rebirth and joy. The maypole is traditionally made from a birch tree and its branches are used to light the Beltane fire.
